The initial premise – a brooding, tech-savvy brother forced to navigate both family crime drama and a blossoming romance – was immediately intriguing, and the author delivered on that promise.

Psalm himself is a fascinating character. Initially presented as gruff and emotionally guarded, his gradual unraveling throughout the story is both believable and deeply affecting.
